Charles Wade Duke

Charles Wade Duke, 79, of Bailey was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, November 24, 2024. He grew up in Sims, North Carolina and served in the United States Army in Vietnam.

 Wade was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who was dedicated to his family. He is survived by his wife, of fifty-five years, Joyce Duke; daughter, Michelle Parker and husband, Craig; grandchildren, Kaitlin Parker and Chase Parker; sister, Shirley Price; brother, John Duke, and several nieces and nephews. 

 He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amy Joy Duke and his parents, J.C. and Mae Nora Duke.

 A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2024, at Stony Hill FWB Church, 9649 Stoney Hill Church Road, Middlesex. Interment will follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. Rev. Ricky Anderson will officiate. 

 The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. at Stony Hill FWB Church, Middlesex.
