Charles M. Gray December 19, 1949 – May 13, 2016 Charles M. Gray, 66, of Kenly passed away Friday. His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mt Moriah Baptist Church, 3000 E Garner Road, Raleigh. Interment will follow in Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S Wilmington Street, Raleigh. His uncle, Dale Hobbs will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Charles is survived by his loving wife of forty-three and half years, Mollie Futrell Gray of the home; his sons, Chad Gray and wife, Beth of Bailey, and Michael Gray of Benson and fiancée, Jennifer; his granddaughter, Summer Gray; grandsons, Stevie Gray and Hunter Gray; his step-granddaughter, Gracie Gowen; step-grandson, Nickolas Gowen; his sisters, Betty Hobbs and husband, Dale of Garner, Joyce Young of Rosman, and Diane Gray of Hendersonville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Zola Murray Gray; many brothers and sisters, and brother-in-law, Buddy Young.
