Charles Julian Hagwood, Jr.
September 27, 1959 – February 18, 2016
Charles “Chuck” Julian Hagwood, Jr., 56, of Lucama passed away Thursday. A celebration of Chuck’s life will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. The Rev. De W. Eakes will officiate.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
Chuck will always be remembered for his love of God’s beautiful creations; animals, plants, a sunrise, a sunset, and to help a person in need. He read his Bible, and he sought and found God, and he loved his family and pets with his whole heart. Chuck was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and a friend to all that knew him. He will be greatly missed and thought of often with memories that will warm the heart and bring a smile.
Beth would like to give a special debt of thanks to Rev. De W. Eakes, Dr. Hal B. Woodall and his staff, and his brother, Joe for their care and support of a soul that has departed this earth and will be greatly missed.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife of twenty-five years, Beth Farmer Hagwood of the home; his mother, Ruth “Jackie” Hagwood; his sister, Carol Ruwe and husband, Harris; his brother, Joe Hagwood and wife, Stephanie; special nephew, Paul Hagwood; his wonderful nieces, Lisa Macias and husband, Tommy, Terri Farmer Mayes and husband, Christian, and Jennifer Patz,; great-niece, Emilia Macias; his mother-in-law, Evelyn Farmer; brother-in-law, Milton Farmer and wife, Cindy; his childhood best friend even today, Steve Stott; several aunts and uncle, and his beloved pets, Max and Annie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Hagwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested in Chuck’s memory to the Little Rock Free Will Baptist Church, PO Box 340, Lucama, North Carolina 27851.
