Charles Ivin High January 23, 1949 – June 8, 2015 Charles “PePa” Ivin High, 66, of Sims passed away Monday. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Charles is survived by his wife, Mary; his sons, Chad High and wife, Meredith of Lucama and Jonathan “Spark Plug” High of Sims; his grandchildren, Delanie High, Emma Sload, Landon High, Matthew Best and Karastan Best; his sisters, Ann Boyette and husband, Larry of Bailey, and Brenda Ballance and husband, Randy of Pikeville; his sister-in-law, Marsha High of Sims and several nieces and nephews.
