Charles Ruffin Meacombs, 80, of Middlesex passed away Friday.-Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday at Joyner-s Funeral Home.-Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex.-The Rev. Mike Carter will officiate.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Sunday at Joyner-s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Charles was a member of Watkins Chapel Church, Rogers Lodge # 525 and Shriner 320 - Yorkrite.-He was loving brother that will be missed and thought of often with great joy.

Charles is survived by his sisters, Dorothy M. Creech and husband, Odell of Zebulon, Cornelia M. Narron of Pine Level, Betsy M. Boykin of Wendell, Judy M. Fowler and husband, Graham of Zebulon and Brenda M. Denton and husband, George of Knightdale.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Stella Atkinson Meacombs and his sisters, Shirley Narron and Frances Nell Meacombs.
