Charles Richard Wood, 65, of Middlesex passed away Saturday.  Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson.  Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex.  The Rev. Roy Jernigan will officiate. The family will receive friends 7 – 9 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Charles is survived by his wife, Judy Sasser Wood of the home; his sons, Richard Kelvin Wood and wife, Jaime of Raleigh and Charles Keith Wood and wife, Julie of Bailey; his granddaughters, Kirstie Wood and Makenzie Wood; his grandsons, Kolby Wood and Braden Wood; his sister, Donna Barham and husband, Wayne of Middlesex and his brother, Graham Wood and wife, Brenda of White Lake, NC.
