Charlie Bill Raper

Charlie Bill Raper August 23, 1942 – December 23, 2018 Charlie Bill Raper, 76 formerly of Lucama passed away Sunday. His graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Raper Family Cemetery, St. Mary’s Church Road, Lucama. Bill served his country with honor and pride in the U.S. Navy. Bill is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Ann Raper of Clayton; brother, Bobby J. Raper and his sister, JoAnn Raper Lamm and husband, Grayson both of Lucama and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Thelma Page Raper and his brother, Benny Wayne Raper.
