Chester Joseph Michalak

Chester Joseph Michalak June 1, 1925 – November 25, 2018 Chester Joseph Michalak, 93, of Wilson passed away peacefully Sunday, November 25, 2018. His memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 700 Nash Street NE, Wilson. Chester served his country with honor and pride during World War II with the US Army. His most important priority was his family. Chester was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed fishing, playing tennis and spending time with his New Britain YMCA friends and his morning coffee group at McDonald’s. Chester is survived by his loving wife of sixty-seven years, Jane Talarski Michalak; son, Dr, Daniel Michalak and wife, Paula Michalak of Wilson; daughter, Patricia Michalak and husband, Robert Kremer of Storrs, Connecticut; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude and thanks to Carolyn Barfield and Erin Tessner for their compassionate care.
