Christian Duane Swartzfager, 20, of Lucama passed away Sunday.  A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson.  The family will receive friends from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway. Christian was a loving son, brother and grandson.  He was loved by all who knew him and he will be missed and thought of often with memories that will warm the heart and bring smiles. Christian is survived by his mother, Brooke Best and husband, Michael of the home; his father, Scott Swartzfager and wife, Erica of Wilson; his sisters, Elizabeth and Kaitlyn Swartzfager both of Lucama and Savannah Swartzfager of Wilson; his step-sister, Karastan Best of Lucama; his step-brother, Matthew Best of Lucama; his grandparents, Kay and Lynn Braddy; his grandmother, Judy Swartzfager; his grandparents, Duane and Gail Swartzfager; his great-grandmother, Berniece Campbell; his aunts, Shay Jackson of Wilson and Suzie Dufour and husband, Jason of Nashville; his uncles, Brandon Jackson of Asheville and Timothy Swartzfager and wife, Andrea of Holly Springs and his special caregiver, Lisa Palmer-Harris.
