Christie Lynn Goodyear Hopkins February 8, 1975 – April 4, 2015 Christie Lynn Goodyear Hopkins, 40, of Bailey passed away Saturday, April 4, 2015. Her funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. The Rev. Shawn Garnett and the Rev. Gary Randol will officiate. The family will receive friends 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, 4747 Lake Wilson Road, Wilson. Christie was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all she knew. She was the receptionist at Medical Eye Associates in Rocky Mount. She was deeply loved and will be remembered and missed. Christie is survived by her husband, Autry Wayne Hopkins; her sons, Jeremy Hopkins of Four Oaks, Kristian Hopkins and Brian Hopkins, both of the home; her mother, Mary Tyler Goodyear of Dillon, South Carolina; sisters, Donna McGarty and Marsha Goodyear both of Norwalk, Connecticut and Kathleen Hyatt of Dillon, South Carolina, brothers, Bryan Fulton Goodyear of Dillon, South Carolina and Wade Goodyear of Norwalk, Connecticut; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Tyler of Dillon, South Carolina and uncle, Wayne Tyler of Dillon, South Carolina. She was preceded in death by her father, Bryan Gene Goodyear.
