Christine Serena Pridgen May 10, 1940 – December 4, 2019 Christine Serena Pridgen, 79, of Black Creek passed away Wednesday. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Ray Wells will officiate. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of her son, Randy. Christine is survived by her sons, Randy Pridgen and wife, Dianne of Black Creek, Tim Pridgen and fiancée, Julie Holland of Lucama and Tony Pridgen of Wilmington; brothers, Calvin Barnett of Florida and Steve Barnett of Maryland; grandchildren, T.J. Pridgen, Scott Pridgen, Dana Glover, and Leanne Kintzele, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
