Clara Waddell Bass

Clara Waddell Bass April 27, 1931 – April 21, 2020 Clara Waddell Bass, 88 of Wilson passed away Tuesday. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Jonathan Ange will officiate. Clara was a longtime member of Wildwood FWB Church in Wilson. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Clara is survived by her daughter, Lynda Denton and husband, Vance of Wilson; grandson, Kevin Denton and wife, Susan of Goldsboro; great-granddaughter, Meghan Denton of Goldsboro and great-grandson, Miles Denton of Goldsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Marion “Bill” Bass; parents, Larry Waddell and Blummer Waddell Lamm and her stepdad, Luther Lamm. The family would like to thank Sheila Rose, a loving caregiver to mama, as well as the staff of Hospice of Wilson.
