Clarine Evett Henderson
March 7, 1938 – March 23, 2019
Clarine Evett Henderson, 81, of Wilson passed away Saturday. Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, 2000 Ruann Drive, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Charles Gentry and Rev. Tony Moore will officiate.
The family will receive friends Tuesday 1 – 1:45 p.m. at First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Wilson.
Clarine was a kindergarten teacher at Wilson Christian Academy for thirty-three years.
Clarine is survived by her son, Gil Evett, Jr. and wife, Renee’ of Elm City; step-daughter, Jennifer Henderson Popovich and husband, Anthony of Greenville; granddaughters, Rose-Webb Evett of Wilson and Bailey Popovich of Greenville; grandsons, Tripp Evett of Elm City, Anthony Popovich, III of Greenville and Alex Popovich of Greenville; sisters, Betsy Rose Williams and husband, Braxton of Wilson and Mary Rose Caldwell and husband, Hal of Wilson; brother, Bruce Rose and wife, Becky of Wilson; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews and all of her kindergarten students and her little munchkins she loved you then and she loves you now.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Henderson and parents, John Clayton Rose and Mildred Thompson Rose.
