Claude Newton Glover

Claude Newton Glover February 1, 1937 – September 2, 2020 Claude Newton Glover, 83 of Wilson passed away peacefully Wednesday, September 2, 2020. A graveside service was held Friday, September 4, 2020 in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Newton was a golf pro that loved the game and was an avid outdoorsman. He was a loving father, grandfather and friend to all that knew him. Newton always had a smile and joke to share with anyone, he will be dearly missed and thought of often with wonderful memories. Newton is survived by his son, Todd Vick Glover of Wilson; granddaughter, Gracie Glover of Raleigh; grandson, Robert Glover and wife, Mary Frances of Knightdale and his daughter-in-law, Ellen Thomas Glover of Swansboro. He was preceded in death by his wife, Keith Vick Glover; son, Ken Glover; granddaughter, Faith Victoria Glover and his parents, Claude and Etta Newton Glover.
