Clayton Floyd Mooring January 14, 1930 – December 14, 2020 Clayton Floyd Mooring, 90 of Wilson passed away Monday, December 14, 2020. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. Friday in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Elm City. The Rev. Gene Wells will officiated. Clayton is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Jenkins Mooring; sons, Danny Keith Mooring of Wilson and Jeffrey Clayton Mooring and wife, Teresa of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; grandsons, Jeffrey Ryan Mooring of Wilson, Brett Pridgen Mooring of Macon, Mitchell Alexander Mooring of Garner and Blake Allen Mooring of Erwin; great-granddaughter, Ava Kathleen Mooring of Wilson and his great-grandson, Blake Allen Mooring, II of Erwin.
