Clemon Gary Davis, Jr. May 18, 1934 – July 17, 2016 Clemon Gary Davis, Jr., 82, of Sims passed away Sunday. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday in Davis Family Cemetery, Kenly. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home Lisa Billups. Clemon is survived his daughter, Lisa Davis Billups of Wilson; his step-son, David Davis and wife, Sandi of Wilson; granddaughters, Mikayla Billups, and Hannah Davis both of Wilson; grandson, Jordan Davis of Ashboro, and his sister, Helen Wiggins of New Bern. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deedie Davis; his parents, Clemon and Nellie Davis; sisters, Jean Jones, and Peggy Walker, and his brothers, George, Daniel, and William Davis.
