Clinton Offie Proctor, Sr. April 3, 1932 – September 7, 2016 Clinton Offie Proctor, Sr., 84, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. His funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson. The Rev. Richard Cuddington, Jr. and Rev. Dr. Billy Toler will officiate. The family will receive friends 10 – 10:45 a.m. Saturday morning prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Clinton is survived by his wife, Dorothy Jean Saunders Proctor of the home; his son, Clinton “Clint” Offie Proctor, Jr. and wife, Becky of Castle Hayne; daughter, Tammy Jo Proctor Manning and husband, Mel of Henderson; grandsons, Jeremy Proctor and wife, Christa of Castle Hayne, Christopher Manning and wife, Meredith of Henderson, Tyler Manning of Wilmington, and Blake Manning of Wilmington; his granddaughter, Katie Proctor of Wilmington; great-granddaughter, Emilee Proctor of Spokane, Washington; great-grandson, Jaxon Proctor of Wilmington, and his brother, Clarence Proctor and wife, Jean of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Offie Proctor and Addie Jones Proctor, and his sister, Clara Proctor Skinner.
