Connie Jo Stott December 12, 1945 – February 27, 2020 Connie Jo Stott, 74 of Sims passed away Thursday. Her funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Nobles Chapel Church, 7330 Old Raleigh Road, Sims. Interment will follow in Nobles Chapel Church Cemetery, Sims. Pastors Chase Caldwell and Brittany Caldwell will officiate. The family will receive Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Connie is survived by her cousins, Kay Strickland of Fayetteville, Bill Boykin and wife, Susan of Sims, Jeffrey Boykin and wife, Abby of Sims, Will Strickland and wife, Jamie of Wake Forest and Michael Strickland and wife, Chrissy of Kenly; Cora and Miller Boykin, Sierra and Justin Gustafson and Thomas Strickland who were thought of as her grandchildren and several other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mallie and Ruth Boykin Stott.
