Cynthia Granberry Godwin, 68 of Wilson passed away Tuesday. Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Friday at Peace Church, 2838 Tilghman Road, Wilson. Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. Pastor Brian Tippett will officiate.

The family will receive friends Friday evening immediately following the service at Peace Church, Wilson.

Cynthia is survived by her son, Joe Godwin and wife, Lisa; grandsons, Ethan Godwin, Kenan Howell and Cooper Howell; granddaughters, Reese Godwin, and Caroline Howell; son-in-law, Kenny Howell; brother, Michael Ray and Lori Granberry; her sisters, Susan Bailey and husband, Craig, Stephanie O’Connor and husband, Tim, Lisa Jo Branch and husband, Allen, and Mikki Garris Kreiner and husband, Chris, brother, Bill Garris of Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, “Big Joe” Godwin; daughter, Bridgette Howell and her parents, Billy Ray and Lanell Thomas Granberry.
