Cynthia Howe Bradley Perkins Wall

Cynthia Howe Bradley Perkins Wall (Nee’ Cynthia Howe Bradley) born 31 December 1933 passed away in her sleep on 10 October 2024. She was the only daughter of Edward Earl Bradley and Louise Howe Bradley, both of Wilson, North Carolina. She was born in Raleigh, North Carolina and raised in Wilson and was a cheerleader and member of the debate team at Charles L. Coon High School. She graduated from St Mary’s School in Raleigh as well as earned her BA in Elementary Education from Atlantic Christian College. She taught second grade at Wells Elementary School in Wilson for several years. 

 Cynthia was married to James Cecil Perkins from 1956 until his passing in 1991 and then to Vance Deaulon Wall from 1999 until his passing in 2018. Cynthia is survived by her three children; Tabb Hardy Perkins (Rick Evans) of Statesboro, Georgia; James Elliott Perkins (Ann) of Eatonton, Georgia; and Edward Bradley Perkins (Tammey) of Bel Air, Maryland. She is also survived by her five stepchildren; Chandler Wall (Melanie) of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; Toby Wall (Angie) of Rocky Mount, North Carolina; Darrin Wall of Macclesfield, North Carolina; as well as Beverly Barnes and Christy Rowland (Billy) both of Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Cynthia is survived by her eight children and step-children as well as sixteen grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren. 

 A visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at Saint Timothy’s Episcopal Church, 202 N Goldsboro Street S, Wilson, North Carolina followed by the burial in Maplewood Cemetery, Wilson, North Carolina. Times are pending at this time.
