Danny Rayford Lamm, 66, of Wilson passed away Friday.  Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  The Rev. Steve Strickland will officiate. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home. Danny is survived by his wife, Myra Norwood Lamm of the home; his daughters, Jeanna Lamm Harrell of Wilson, Amy Kampfer of Raleigh and Crystal Black and husband, Jimi of Wake Forest; his grandchildren, Amber, Cassie and Faith Kampfer of Raleigh and Hunter and Catie Harrell of Wilson; his sister, Rose Blackman and husband, Bill of Wilson; his brothers, Troy Edgar Lamm of Hamilton and Ed Hardy Lamm and wife, Joyce of Alaska; his mother-in-law, Mildred Norwood of Raleigh; his sister- in-law, Sandy Gilliam and husband, James of Knightdale and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Thomas Lamm and Bonnie Thorne Goin and his brother, Thomas R. “Chip” Lamm. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Jimmie and Edith Pridgen, WilMed Hospice and the Wilson Moose Lodge for their love, support, kindness and caring arms in our time of need.
