Danny Gerald Whitley

Danny Gerald Whitley November 28, 1950 – April 8, 2020 Danny Gerald Whitley, 69 of Sims passed away Wednesday. A memorial service will be held at a later date for Danny. Danny was the owner of Whitley’s Welding Service in Sims. He was a member of Milburnie Church in Wilson. He loved spending time outside especially hunting and fishing. Danny was dearly loved by his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by them and the Sims Community. Danny is survived by his wife, Debra M. Whitley of the home; daughter, Tammy Collie of Wendall; son, Dwayne Ferrell and wife, Milo of Farmville; grandchildren, Elisabeth Collie, Daniel Collie, Hannah Jones, Grayson Ferrell, Zeke Ferrell, Eli Ferrell and Georgianna Ferrell and his brother, Larry “Wink” Whitley of Bailey.
