Danny Williams April 2, 1944 – June 15, 2016 Danny Braxton Williams Sr., 72, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Kenly Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Roberson will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday 7 – 9 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Danny is survived by his son, Brad Williams and wife, Lisa of Rocky Mount; his grandchildren, Courtney and McKenzie Williams; the love of his life, Claudia B. Capps; his step-son, Eric Capps of Four Oaks; his step-daughter, Dawn Capps of Pine Level; his step-grandchildren, Brianna and Blake Capps; his sister, Pearl Wilson of Greenville, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Braxton and Beatrice Williams and his brother, Tommy Williams.
