David Wrenn Roberson

David Wrenn Roberson, 51, passed away Sunday from cancer in Vidant Hospice at Greenville Medical Center on April 9, 2017. The son of Frances Wrenn Roberson and the late Wallace Reid Roberson, he was born in Washington, DC on July 13, 1965. He spent his youth in Wilson, graduated from Greenfield School, attended N. C. State University and graduated from Barton College.
David was an Eagle Scout, loved every activity of scouting, water sports, golf and outdoor activities. He was involved in sales throughout the years, enjoying the people with whom he worked and loved the challenge of selling.
He is survived by his mother, and his nephew Sidney Nobles Farmer, son of his sister Hannah Reid Roberson, who died in 2002, and many special cousins.
Graveside services will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Robl and the Rev. Dan Jones at Maplewood Cemetery in Wilson on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Family and friends are welcome to his home on 313 Canterbury Road throughout the coming days.
