David Wendell Sanders October 2, 1958 – October 10, 2018 David Wendell Sanders, 60, of Kenly passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He married Lynn Narron on December 6, 1986. His wife, Lynn is retired from NCDPS and Wendell was employed with NCDPS in Johnston County for twenty-nine years. Wendell is survived by his wife, Lynn; son, Kyle Sanders and wife, Rachel and his daughter, Kelly Sanders. In addition to his children, Wendell is survived by his sister, Teresa Sanders Dorman. He was preceded in death by his mother, Ellen Dale Sanders and his father, David Willis Sanders. Wendell’s funeral service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. The family will receive friends Friday evening after the service till 8 p.m. The Rev. Clark Vincent will officiate.
