Davy Joe Pate November 21, 1962 – February 18, 2020 Davy Joe Pate, 57 of Lucama passed away Tuesday. His graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday with Masonic Rites in Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College Street, Wilson. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5 – 7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road, Wilson. Davy is survived by his wife, Leslie Hatfield Pate of the home; daughter, Allison Ruby Pate of the home; son, Andrew Montgomery Pate of the home; sisters, Diane P. Lamm and husband, Fred of Lucama and Vicky P. Peeden and husband, Doug of Lucama; brothers, James B. Pate, Jr. of Lucama and Danny R. Pate and wife, Donna of Wilson; nieces, Kristen P. Davis and husband, Stephen, Kari P. Thomas and husband Sam, and Jessica N. Pate and his nephew, Fred Adam Lamm and wife, Amanda. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Smith Pate and James Bruton Pate and sister, Lillie Faye Pate.
