Dawn Woodard Hemp December 12, 1965 – February 5, 2015 Dawn Woodard Hemp, 49, of Wilson passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Davis Family Cemetery. The Rev. Stuart Milton will officiate. The family will receive friends at 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at 6477 Jaycross Road, Fremont. Dawn is survived by her husband, John Hemp; her daughters, Rachel Hemp and fiancé, Josh Crumpler and Chelsea Hemp both of Wilson; her son, Jacob Hemp of Wilson; her granddaughter, Ella Grace Crumpler; her sisters, Renee Woodard Howard of Fremont and Misty Woodard Hardison and husband, Luke of New York, New York and several special nieces and nephews, Dylan Howard, Brandy Howard and Benson Hardison. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Clement B. Woodard and Brenda Cross Woodard.
