Deborah Bass Whitley February 16, 1955 – April 22, 2020 Deborah “Debbie” Bass Whitley, 65 of Elm City passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2020. The family will have a private celebration of life. Debbie is survived by her sons, Joseph Curtis Vick of Wilson and James Robert Vick and wife, Casandra of Elm City; grandchildren, Alexis Vick and Briana Vick both of Elm City and Noah Vick and Noelle Vick both of Rocky Mount; her mother, Emily Jean Owens of Wilson; sister, Sharon Bonsall of Wilson; step-mother, Janice Gardner of Black Creek and her dear friend, Mary Ann Sherrod of Elm City.
