Deland Eric Ferrell October 28, 1937 – December 6, 2018 Deland Eric Ferrell, 81, of Lucama passed away Thursday. His funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson with the family receiving friends from 12 – 12:45 p.m. prior to the service. The Rev. Kelly Smart and Rev. DeWayne Eakes will officiate. Deland is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Barbara M. Ferrell of the home; his daughter, Terre Ferrell of Lucama; sons, Eric Ferrell and wife, Tina of Kings Mountain and Gary Ferrell and wife, Tammy of Wilson; granddaughter, Megan Lucas London and husband, Matthew and great-granddaughter, Avery Kate London of Wilson; grandson, Brett Lucas and wife, Chelsea of Raleigh; grandson, Seth Ferrell and wife, Ashton and great-grandsons, Grayson and Raleigh all of Charlotte; granddaughter, Lauren Jackson and husband, Jonathan of Kings Mountain and granddaughter, Autumn Ferrell of Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Alton Ferrell and Minnie Hayes Ferrell and his brother, Willie Alton Ferrell, Jr. Condolences may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home at www.joyners.net.
