Diane Marie Wells

September 3, 1947 – January 2, 2022

Diane Marie Wells, 74, of Middlesex passed away Sunday. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 2p.m. in Hollywood Cemetery, Middlesex. Rev. Steven Gay will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6p.m to 8p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.

Diane is survived by her son, Freddie Lee Wells and wife Amy; grandsons, Hunter Wells and Dylan Wells; granddaughters, Jadyn Wells and Kierstee Robbins; sister, Mary Lou Winstead; nephew, Dan Issette and life long best friend and caregiver, Brenda Wilder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cronnie and Blanche Strickland.
