Dixie Lila Coleman Page July 31, 1923 – April 27, 2016 Dixie Lila Coleman Page, 92, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A graveside service will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. on Friday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Elder Randall Saunders will officiate. The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1 – 3 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at her home. Dixie is survived by her daughters, Ann Page Bowen and husband, Melvin of Wilson, and Faye Page Ames and husband, Bill of Rocky Mount; her son, Bennie Ray Page and wife, Donna; her grandchildren, Kevin G. Bowen and wife, Krissy of Raleigh, Christopher L. Bowen and wife, Deborah of Garner, Amanda A. Hedgepeth and husband, Nick of Rocky Mount, and Michelle B. Page of Wilson; her great-grandchildren, Drew Bowen and Cole Bowen both of Garner, Abby Hedgepeth and Avery Hedgepeth both of Rocky Mount; her sisters, Pearl Lamm and husband, Troy of Wilson, Esther Bissette and husband, Billy of Elm City, and Vanice Mercer of Sims, and her brothers, Durand Coleman and wife, Aster Rae of Sims, and Carroll Coleman and wife, Peggy of Kenly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Loomis Carlton Page; her parents, Grover Cleveland and Annie Boykin Coleman; sister, Fannie Mae Marlow, and her brothers, William, Garland, Cleveland, and Bennie Coleman.
