Don Elton Williams

Don Elton Williams, 80 of Elm City, NC passed away on May 21, 2022. He was born in Wilson County to parents William Floyd Williams and Bessie Oakey Williams on November 27, 1941.

Don was a long time employee of Bridgestone in Wilson and a faithful member of Aenon Baptist Church in Town Creek. He served his country in the United States Army. Don loved music, was a very talented drummer and was an avid hunter, fisherman and golfer. 

Don is preceded in death by his parents, William and Bessie Williams, 4 brothers and 1 sister.

He is survived by his son Jason Williams, his son Russell Williams (Sherrie), Cody Williford and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be at Rise Church in Rocky Mount, NC (behind Wesleyan College) on Thursday, May 26, 2022, at 2:00pm. Visitation will be before the service from 1:00pm to 2:00pm.
