Donald Albert Coley September 5, 1936 – August 25, 2018 Donald Albert Coley, 81, of Elm City passed away Saturday. His funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday in Crumpler Cemetery, 698 Stoney Creek Church Road, Goldsboro. The Rev. Donnie Price will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6 – 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Donald was an avid sportsman who loved his family with all of his heart and he will be dearly missed. Donald is survived by his loving wife, Christine Evans Coley of Wilson; his sons, Donald Albert Coley, Jr. and wife, Diana of Middlesex, Danny Lee Coley of Elm City and Ronald Wayne Coley of Elm City; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Dora Frances Langley and husband, Coy of Dowling Park, Florida and his brother, Freeman Coley, Jr. and wife, Peggy of Zebulon. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Lynn Coley Johnson; parents, Freeman and Dora Mae Crumpler Coley; sisters, Mary Rose Pender, Mable Lee Williford and Pasha Newcomb and his brothers, Jimmy Coley and David Earl Coley.
