Donald “Donnie” Wayne Lynch, 64, of Elm City passed away Friday peacefully and entered his eternal home where he will join his Lord and Savior.  Funeral services will be conducted 7 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Memorial Park.  The Rev. Marvin Smith and the Rev. Jesse Horne will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. He was a loving husband, father, step-father, and brother.  He will be greatly missed and thought of often with joy and memories that will live forever in the hearts that knew him. Donnie was the former owner and operator of Donnie’s Grocery Store. Donnie is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda Batchelor Lynch of the home; his son, Donnie Wayne Lynch, Jr. and wife, Sandra of Elm City; his step-sons, Stevie G. Warrick of Wilson and Danny L. Warrick, Jr. of Wilson and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Lynch and Darnell Powell Lynch; his sisters, Linda Cobb, Carol Pridgen and Elizabeth Cobb and his brothers, Bobby Lynch and Rudolph Lynch.
