Donald Perry October 25, 1951 – January 7, 2019 Donald Perry, 67 of Sims passed away Monday. His funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment to follow in Bailey Town Cemetery, Bailey. The Rev. Anderson Barnes will officate. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Donald served his country with honor and pride in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Donald is survived by his wife, Gail Perry of the home; daughter, Crystal Perry of Sims; son, Donald Modis Perry and wife, Martha of Red Oak; grandchildren, Bradley Williams and wife, Mamie, Zachary Williams and wife, Emily and Wyatt Williams; great-grandson, Bradley Jordan Williams; step-great-grandson, Noah Boykin; sisters, Sue Wells and Virginia Bissette and his brother, Harris Perry and wife, Audrey. He was preceded in death by parents Modis and Sarah Griffin Perry and his brother, Eugene Perry.
