Donna Ann Atkinson McMurray September 6, 1962 – April 1, 2021 Donna Ann Atkinson McMurray, 58 of Lucama passed way Thursday. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2021 in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. The Rev. Kelley Smart will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. After many years of service as a caring and compassionate nurse, she devoted her most recent years to providing outstanding care and support for all members of her family. Donna touched many lives with her generosity and love including her fur family, Chevy, Hemi and Bella. Donna is survived by her loving husband of thirty-eight years, Ricky McMurray of the home; son, Brandon McMurray of Lucama; father, Dolan Henry Atkinson of Lucama; sister, Deborah Clayton of Lucama; brother, Michael Atkinson and wife, Ginny of Wilson, and her nephew, Garrett Barnes of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Atkinson.
