Donnie Hugh Britt December 27, 1946 – May 4, 2016 Donnie Hugh Britt, 69, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Maplewood Cemetery. The Rev. Steve Webb will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service and at other times at the home of Braxton Britt. Mr. Britt is survived by his daughter, Violet Britt of Lowland; a son, Kevin Britt of Wilson; granddaughter, Jennifer Britt of Macclesfield; grandson, Austin Britt of Princeton; brothers, Braxton Britt of Wilson and Danny Britt and wife, Phyllis of Wilson; sisters, Joyce Waddell of Elm City, Ruby Rhora of Garner, Mary Ann Britt of Virginia, Sue Britt of Raleigh, Gail Hinnant and husband, Bobby and Ann Webb and husband, Billy of Wilson, and his stepson, David Register of Arkansas. Mr. Britt was preceded in death by his son, Chris Britt and sister, Grace Verhoff.
