Donnie Ray Howell

Donnie Ray Howell May 29, 1946 – December 10, 2020 Donnie Ray Howell, 74 of Wilson passed away Thursday. A graveside service with Masonic Rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson. His son-in-law, Rev. Brian Hemphill will officiate. Donnie was a tobacconist for over fifty-one years. He was a Mason, Shriner and a member of the Moose Lodge. Donnie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all who knew him. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Donnie is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Sue Hall Howell; daughters, Donna Howell Seaford and husband, Mark of Salisbury and Heather Howell Hemphill and husband, Brian of Oak Island; son, Brandon Howell and wife, Anna of Woodbridge, Virginia; grandchildren, Annah Seaford, Ellah Seaford, Caleb Hemphill and wife, Briana, Hunter Hemphill, Paxton Hemphill and Landon Howell; brother, Dwight Thomas Howell and wife, Maria of Calabash and his loving cat, Rosie.
