Doris Bass Collier December 26, 1945 to January 18, 2019 Doris Bass Collier, 73, of Wilson passed away Friday. Her funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Black Creek Cemetery. The Rev. Bill Groce will officiate. The family will receive friends for 12:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m. prior to service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Doris is survived by her son, Jeffrey Gray Collier and wife, Kristi and a granddaughter, Jana Gray Collier, all of Wilson; very special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jarvis Gray Collier; grandson, Jaycee Gray Collier; parents, Ernest and Louise Bass; sister, Barbara Bass Lancaster and a brother, Hubert “Sam” Bass.
