Dorothy Lamm Brantley
February 20, 1932 – July 3, 2018
Mrs. Dorothy Lamm Brantley, 86, of Lucama passed away Tuesday, peacefully with her family by her side. Her funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Brantley Family Cemetery, Middlesex. The Rev. Tony Hawley and Rev. Faye Jones will officiate.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home of Rev. Tony Hawley and wife, Joyce.
Mrs. Dorothy is survived by her loving husband of sixty-eight years, Worley Brantley, daughters, Debbie Joyner and husband, Jerry of Lucama, Katie Ann Brantley of Black Creek, and Joyce Hawley and husband, Tony of Lucama; her sons, Dennis Ray Brantley and wife, Dianne of Wilson, Danny Carson Brantley of Lucama and David Ervin Brantley of Lucama and fiancé, Margaret West of Nashville; seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, and her sister, Nancy Bailey of Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Wendy Lynn Brantley; grandson, Phillip Jonathan Flowers; her parents, Tink and Katie Lamm; eight sisters, and three brothers.
She had a great heart for her loving pets.
