Dorothy Jean Lamm Lewis

May 23, 1932 – October 4, 2014

Dorothy Jean Lamm Lewis, 82, of Wilson passed away Saturday.  A funeral service will be conducted at 7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Memorial Park.  The Rev. Johnny Sullivan and Rev. Bill Groce will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday evening immediately following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway and other times at the home of Debbie Bradley 4822 Lake Hills Drive, Wilson. Dorothy was a graduate of Charles L. Coon High School and she retired from the North Carolina Special Care Center after thirty years of service. Dorothy is survived by her son, William E. “Bill” Lewis of Wilson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Walter Lewis; her daughter, Susan Lewis Boykin; her son, David Lewis and her parents, Perry and Gladys Lamm.
