Dorothy Dail Lucas May 28, 1941 – June 15, 2016 Dorothy Dail Lucas, 75, of Lucama passed away Wednesday. Her memorial service will be conducted Friday at 7 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home. The Rev. Daniel Taylor will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson and other times at the home. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Belinda Lucas of Lucama; son, David Lucas and wife, Teresa of Lucama; granddaughters, Carmen Best and husband, Daniel of Wilson and Summer Lucas of Lucama; great-grandson, Micah Best of Wilson; sisters, Peggy Beamon & husband Richard and Judy Boykin of Lucama. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Lucas and brother, Exum Dail.
