Dorsey C. Bunn October 2, 1939 – October 27, 2019 With heavy hearts we are saddened, but also blessed to share that Dorsey Bunn of Black Creek was given the gift of eternal life on October 27th, 2019. Dorsey was born on October 2, 1939 and raised in Wilson. He was married to the love of his life, Billestine Bunn, for fifty-eight years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother. Dorsey was the rock of the family, without a doubt, his shoes can never be filled. He will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. Those who had the pleasure of knowing him can say that he was a simple, kind, and humble man who had endless compassion for others. Dorsey Bunn is survived by his loving wife, Billestine Bunn of the home; son, Gregory Bunn and wife, Kim of Tennessee; daughter, Mitzi Poulin of Michigan; sister, Julia Davidson and husband, Bill of South Carolina; brother, Jerry Bunn and wife, Judy of Raleigh; granddaughters, Savannah Morris of Michigan, Aislin Bunn of Tennessee and Angelia LaGrandeur of Michigan and his grandsons, Bradley Privette and Nick Poulin of Michigan. Dorsey Bunn was preceded in death by his beloved son, Walter Privette; daughter Melanie Mead and seven siblings, Keith, Wayne, George, Angie, Ramona, Janice, and Smokey Bunn.
