Douglas Raymond Salter July 30, 1998 – August 22, 2019 Douglas Raymond Salter, 21 of Elm City passed away Thursday.  A memorial service will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service.  The Rev. Gary Combs will officiate. Douglas is survived by his mother, Tammy Upchurch and her fiancé, Frank Taylor of Bailey; father, Steve Salter and wife, Olivia of Greenville; sisters, Sidney Salter of Elm City and Megan Barnes of Elm City; brother, Davis Salter of Greenville; sisters, Scarlett Salter of Greenville and Saylor Salter of Greenville; grandmother, Joyce Upchurch of Elm City and grandfather, Edward Salter of Stella.
