Dwain Edward Stallings, 73 of Middlesex, passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024.

 Mr. Stallings was born on June 15, 1951, and grew up in Middlesex, NC. Dwain was a Class of 1969 graduate of Southern Nash High School. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Textiles from N.C. State University, before continuing his education further and completing his Masters of Business Administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.

 He was an active member of his community. He frequently volunteered his time to charitable organizations and attended Lees Chapel Baptist Church. He loved spending time with friends and family and was a devoted father and grandfather. Friends and family knew him as someone who could be called on for his kindness or in a time of need. He was endlessly giving to those he cared for.

 Mr. Stallings is survived by his son, Kevin Harp and his wife, Emily, of Baltimore, MD; daughter, Amy Young and her husband, Jonathan, of Fuquay-Varina, NC; grandchildren: River Harp, Noah Young, Hailey Young and Isla Young; and numerous cousins and extended family.

 Preceding him in death are his parents, Ed and Chris Stallings.

 A special gathering of friends and family will be held Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 3-5pm at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson.
