Earl Miller Morgan, 85, of Elm City passed away Friday.  Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home.  The Rev. Christian Powell will officiate. The family will receive friends 2 – 3 p.m. Sunday prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Earl is survived by his wife, Faye Wells Morgan of the home; his son, Earl Miller Morgan, Jr. and wife, Sharon of Kinston; his daughter, Mary Morgan Pittman and husband, Sam of Kenly; his grandson, Christian Miller Joyner of Wilson; his granddaughter, Morgan Ashley Joyner of Wilson and his sister, Rachel Lane and husband, Kelvin of Albany, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Solomon Reather and Mary Miller Morgan; his brothers, Edwin Morgan, Clifford Morgan and P.R. Morgan and his sister, Madeline Daniels.
