An avid outdoorsman, Ed moved toward better fishing in 2009, making \"the beach cottage,\" a second home Frances and he had purchased years before, his permanent residence. The fine folks of Colonial Beach, just outside of Columbia have lost their amazing friend.
As known by many, \"Fishing Ed\" was a larger than life force to be reckoned with; a God fearing man\'s man who possessed the charm and character of a day gone by. A time of looking people in the eye, saying exactly what you mean, putting the needs of others before your own, engaging audiences with an uncanny ability to tell a story, and trying one\'s best to always do what\'s right. He was an excellent husband, father, brother, uncle, mentor, friend, and much more to so many!
