Edna Wiggins Petway

Edna Wiggins Petway, 93, of Wilson, met her Lord and Savior on Wednesday. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Joyner’s Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. LaVon Phillips and Rev. Daylon Mooneyham will officiate.

Family will receive friends prior to the service at Joyner’s Funeral Home from 12:30 – 1:45 p.m.

Edna was a faithful and long serving member of Farmington Heights Church of God. She was the last surviving Charter Member. She loved and cherished her church family and always had a strong bond with the ministry. She will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to know and love her.

Edna is survived by her son, Carlton Randall Petway and wife, Patricia Ann Petway of Wilson; granddaughter, Lorie Ann Petway of Wilson and grandson, Jason Randall Petway of Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, William Carl Petway; parents, Floyd and Maybel Wiggins; brother, Leslie Wiggins and sisters, Rachel Justice, Ruby Strickland, Linda Edwards and Marie Craft.
