Edwood Earl Tanner, 71, of Nashville passed away Friday.  A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday in Battleboro Cemetery, 100 Cemetery Drive, Battleboro. Edwood was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather that loved spending time with his family.  He will be missed and thought of often with memories that will bring warmth to the heart.  He loved to hunt and fly fish.  He made his own fly baits and he enjoyed talking about making them. Edwood is survived by his wife, Toni Whitaker Tanner of the home; his sons, Edwood Ryan Tanner and wife, Susan of Bailey and Anthony Scott Tanner and wife, Deanna of Nashville; his grandchildren, Nicholas Ti Tanner, Kristen Nicole Tanner, Reginald Scott Tanner and Rocky Earl Tanner and his great-grandchild, Landen Wade Tanner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Marriot Tanner and Cora Belle Martin Tanner. Condolences may be directed to www.joyners.net.
