Effie Jean Webb Call September 21, 1932 – January 2, 2019 Effie Jean Webb Call, 86 of Wilson passed away Wednesday. Her funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Joyner’s Funeral Home, Wilson. Interment will follow in Good News Advent Church Cemetery, Fountain. The family will receive friends Saturday afternoon from 12 – 5 p.m. at the home and Sunday from 1 – 1:45 p.m. at Joyner’s Funeral Home, 4100 Raleigh Road Parkway, Wilson. Effie “Jean” is survived by her son, Larry Walston and wife, Susan of Wilson; her daughters, Connie Hawley of Middlesex, Janet Walston of Wilson, Jackie Keel of Snow Hill and fiancé, Danny Hill, Teresa Panameno of Wake Forest and Ruth Call Lamm and husband, Frankie of Elm City; step-sons, Doug Call, Jr. of Pasadena, Texas and Tim Call and wife, Gloria of Florida; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, P.T. Walston, Jr. and her second husband, Douglas “Shane” Tedder Call. Condolences may be directed to Joyner’s Funeral Home at www.joyners.net.
